The Arc of Jefferson and Clearfield Counties is a 501C non-profit organization who believes that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/D) have strengths, abilities, and value.
We have a beautiful 8 acre facility called Camp Friendship in Reynoldsville that we own and operate to bring recreation, socialization, and joy to local children and adults with special needs.
New as of October 2011 we opened at much needed Recreation and Respite Club in DuBois on Hoover Avenue next to The Meadows Frozen Custard. This is a meeting place that adults ages 18 and up can come and socialize with their peers and make new friends. Activities such as BINGO, Uno, Crafts, Puzzles, Billiards, Basketball hoops, Wii Games, Zumba and much more are offered on certain nights. The Rec and Respite Club is open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 1 to 8pm.
