The Altoona Center for Clinical Research is under the direction of Dr. Alan Kivitz. This medical research study center has completed over 700 Phase 1 to Phase 4 clinical trials (research studies) and has approximately 100 clinical trials going on at all times. Located in Duncansville, PA, the Altoona Center for Clinical Research is a premiere search facility for clinical trial research. Alan Kivitz, MD, Frederick Murphy, DO, Marianne Shaw, MD, and Lori Lavelle, DO have a combined 44 years of clinical research experience. All four physicians are Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.
